Repair process model to align to event log

Authors: Abel Armas-Cervantes, Nick van Beest, Marcello La Rosa, Marlon Dumas, Simon Raboczi

This plugin is an extension of the Compare model-log for conformance checking plugin. This extension allows users not only to find differences between the expected and the observed behavior of a business process, but also suggests how to reconcile the detected differences and lets the users do so by automatically applying the suggested changes.

To use this plugin, select a BPMN model and a log from the repository, and click on “Analyze>Compare”. Once a model and a log have been selected, this plugin displays the identified differences as statements in natural language and, when one of the differences is selected, the plugin suggests how to reconcile such difference.

To repair the model with the suggested changes, one can click on the Apply button on the top-left corner. After the model has been repaired, the list of differences (the natural-language statements) is refreshed in the light of the new model. Such model can be saved as a new version of the initial model or as a new model, by clicking on the Save or Save As buttons, respectively.
